Home/School Agreement

The School shall try to:

a. Encourage children to do their best at all times.

b. Encourage children to take care of their surroundings and others around them.

c. Inform parents of their children’s progress at regular meetings.

d. Inform parents about what the teachers aim to teach the children each term.

e. Set, mark and monitor homework.

f. Let parents know about any concerns or problems that affect their children’s work or behaviour

g. Keep parents informed about School activities through regular letters home, Newsheets and notices about special events.

The Family: I/We shall try to:

a. Make sure our children are ready to start school at 8.50 am.

b. Make sure our children attends regularly, notify School before 10 am if they are ill and provide a note of explanation when they are absent.

c. Attend Parent Interviews to discuss our children’s progress.

d. Support our children in all aspects of School life.

e. Let the School know about any concerns or problems that might affect our children’s work or behaviour.

f. Support the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour.

g. Encourage our children to undertake their homework.
