Neighbourhood Panels…. are all about local action, and improvement for your area - in discussing issues and actions from refuse and recycling to speeding, from youth provision to Masterplans !
The next Panel meetings (which both start at 7pm) will be:
on Tuesday, 7th October at Swaffham Prior Village Hall –including information about the successful Speedwatch scheme (which ran in the Soham area earlier in the year), and feedback on actions taken to improve Refuse/Recycling Collection and being part of the consultation about NATS (airspace for Stansted flightpaths)
and
on Wednesday, 8th October at Soham Village College – including a presentation about Youth work and provision for young people, progressing the Speedwatch scheme and feedback on actions taken to improve Refuse/Recycling Collection
There are 5 Neighbourhood Panels in East Cambridgeshire serving the South, Soham and East, West, Littleport and Ely areas. For details on the areas, Newsletters, minutes of Panel and Action group meetings and Neighbourhood Profile documents, please look at the Neighbourhood Panel webpage in the A – Z section of East Cambs District Council’s website (www.eastcambs.gov.uk)
Each Panel is made up of Parish, District and County Councillors along with community representatives invited to become Panel members.
All Panels are open for the public to participate in, and you and your young people will be very welcome to come and have your say !
