Reflective

Being reflective is being able to think about something afterwards and then learn from it. For example, when you have had an argument with a friend a good 'reflector' would think about what happened and why and then think about different ways of getting a better outcome next time. Being reflective is important for learning because the first answer is not always the best. Being reflective stops you making silly mistakes. It is also about performance through practise. You cannot be a top performer - in sport, music or science, for example - without being reflective.
