CHILDREN’S CODE

We, the children of The Weatheralls School, want to be treated kindly and show consideration for each other.

We want to feel safe and happy so that we can enjoy our learning and make good progress.

I will help by:

1. Being respectful of other people’s bodies and space.

2. Using courteous and truthful words.

3. Remembering that ‘doing it back’ only makes things worse.

4. Showing consideration towards other people’s belongings.

5. Keeping to ‘Our Learning Code’.

If I feel I am being treated disrespectfully I will:

i. Tell them to stop.

ii. Explain how it makes me feel.

iii. Tell an adult what has happened as soon as possible.

I may also request time to ‘Talk It Out’.
